  1. 500 word essay

As our da’wah, it is very important that we develop patience and perseverance. Da’wah is not an easy task. We should know that as believers, Allah (SWT) will test our Iman Allah (SWT) may test us as to which of us is best in our deeds. The closer we are to Him, the more He will test us, just as He did to all His prophets and messengers. For those who are not living in a comfortable life let the life of the Prophet (S) be a lesson for us.
We should be patient because Allah (SWT) commands us to patiently persevere .We should remember that Allah (SWT) shall test us. Allah may try our patience and perseverance by the hands of the non-Muslims or enemies of Islam and even fellow Muslims, who may harm, insult or ridicule us. We should take lessons from the Prophet (SWT) who showed patience and perseverance at all times.
Abdullah Bin Masud narrated that once the Prophet (S) was offering prayers at the Kabah. Abu Jahl was sitting with some of his companions. One of them said to the others, “Who amongst you will bring the abdominal contents (intestines, etc.) of a camel of Bani so and so and put it on the back of Muhammad, when he prostrates?” The most unfortunate of them got up and brought it. He waited till the Prophet (S) prostrated and then placed it on his back between his shoulders. I was watching but could not do anything. I wish I had some people with me to hold out against them. They started laughing and falling on one another. Allah’s Messenger (S) was on prostration and he did not lift his head up till Fatimah, the Prophets daughter, came and threw the camel’s abdominal contents away from his back (Bukhari 1/24)
Bin Masud narrated that once Allah’s Messenger (S) divided and distributed the war treasures). An Ansar man said, “By Allah! Muhammad, by this distribution, did not intend to please Allah.” So I came to Allah’s Messenger(S) and informed him about it whereupon his face became changed with anger and he said, “May Allah bestows His Mercy on Moses for he was hurt with more than this, yet he remained patient.” (Bukhari 8/85)
As much as possible we should show patience for whatever trials we may receive. We should remember that Allah the Most Gracious surely rewards those who patiently persevere. In the path of our Da’wah people may not only insult us verbally, but also act in ways that may hurt or even harm us physically. We should be firm in our patience and perseverance just like the way the Prophet (SWT) did. As Da’wah, we should be strong and patient when facing any obstacle, problem, or trial that may come about us. We should persevere and always turn to Allah for His help. We should never blame ourselves for any failures, as we should remember that everything is in Allah’s hands. We should also share our knowledge about the virtues of patience in Islam with non-Muslims. We should make it clear to them that if they embrace Islam and then show patience for whatever trials or problems they may encounter as Muslims, Allah for sure will reward them, if not in this world then in the Hereafter.

    prophet Ayyoob essay

Ayyoob was chosen as a messenger of Allah to present Syria. Prophet Ayyoob was a descendent of Ibrahim (pbuh). As stated in Surat un-Nisaa, “We sent inspiration to Nuh, Ismaeel, Ishaq, Yacoub and the tribes, to Isa, Ayyoob.” When prophet Ayyoob started teaching the people about God and His religion, many of his people did not believe him. But over time, more people started to believe in Allah. The story of prophet Ayyoob teaches people about the importance of patience and it’s effects.
Prophet Ayyoob was a very prosperous man. He had been granted blessings from Allah (SWT) such as wealth, a big family, a beautiful wife, health, and bliss. He also had many friends that are always around him. Prophet Ayyoob’s wealth was enormous. He was the owner of a very large trade. He had huge amounts of barley and wheat fields, money, physical strength, health, horses, hundreds of slaves, and livestock. These blessings lasted for many years. But Ayyoob would soon have to face many hardships and tragedies, and keep his faith in Allah (SWT).
Allah (SWT) loved prophet Ayyoob, and Allah (SWT) tests the believers He loves with the hardest calamities. Allah (SWT) inflicted prophet Ayyoob with many tragic and hard times. His first calamity is when his huge farm was attacked by thieves. The thieves destroyed many of Ayyoob’s crops and fields and stole all his cattle. They also killed many of Ayyoob’s servants. Even though his farm was destroyed and his servants were killed, prophet Ayyoob accepted the disaster that happened to him and continued to praise Allah (SWT).
The second tragedy that Allah (SWT) has tested with prophet Ayyoob with is the loss of his loved ones. One day, the roof of prophet Ayyoob’s home became very week. It was very loose and week and it soon collapsed and killed prophet Ayyoob’s children. His children were all crushed by the broken roof, but prophet Ayyoob did not give up his faith in Allah (SWT). He accepted what happened because he knew that it is Allah’s Will. Prophet Ayyoob knew his children were a blessing from Allah (SWT) and remained patient through this difficult time.
Prophet Ayyoob also faced another calamity. He had a skin disease that made him very week. The disease was unknown, but it was said that his flesh was falling off and his skin pealed off as well. Even though he was given such a harmful illness, prophet Ayyoob did not complain or worry. He was faithful and accepted everything that happened to him.
Prophet Ayyoob was a very loved person. But when he got the disease, all his friends left him. The only person that stayed by his side was his wife. She took care of him, stayed with him, helped him with things he couldn’t do. She even worked as a servant to earn money for food. But when she was fired, she had to shave her head and sell her hair for money. When prophet Ayyoob found out, he asked Allah (SWT) to help him through his difficulties.
Allah (SWT) told him to wash his body with a special spring from the ground, and prophet Ayyoob was then restored to the best of health. Prophet Ayyoob gained back all his wealth and had more children. He was very healthy and handsome, and his wife became the most beautiful women around. Because prophet Ayyoob was very patient and faithful, Allah (SWT) helped him and rewarded him with great blessings. Allah (SWT) tests the ones He loves the most, and prophet Ayyoob accepted Allah’s tests no matter how hard it may have gotten for him, as long as he had a beautiful patience.
